The 2025 season is Artus-themed: From testing at the Institute of Aviation to the most important events of the season
2025 was a year of intense presence in the skies for Artus Aircraft and a confirmation of the highest quality of our designs. From specialized resonance tests to supporting the most important gliding competitions in Poland and abroad, the Artus Lighter 600 has proven its versatility and reliability.
Scientifically proven safety
Before we started the series of demonstrations, our aircraft underwent rigorous resonance tests (GVT) at the Institute of Aviation of the Łukasiewicz Research Network. The analysis of the natural vibrations of the airframe structure confirmed the highest stiffness of the structure. This allows our pilots to safely use the full potential of the Artus speed, which exceeds 200 mph.
Artus Aircraft Event Calendar – Season 2025
This year, our planes (including SP-SUNY and SP-ZAAB) participated in the following events:
MAY
- Krosno n/Wisłokiem – Presentation of a towing plane (Podkarpackie Aero Club).
- Leszno – Polish Gliding Championships in the Club A class (Leszno Gliding Club).
- Nowy Targ – International qualifying competition for the FAI Sailplane Grand Prix (18 m class).
JUNE
- Dęblin (100th anniversary of LAW) – Accuracy of landing competition.
- Dęblin (100th anniversary of LAW) – Main air shows. The SP-ZAAB and SP-SUNY in the role of a tugboat.
- Rudniki – International Open Class Polish Gliding Championships (Częstochowa Aero Club).
JULY
- Michałków – Junior Gliding Championships of Poland, Ostrów Glide (Ostrowski Aeroclub).
- Masłów – Air shows for the 80th anniversary of the Kielce Aero Club.
AUGUST
- Leszno – Leszno CUP open class (Leszno Aero Club).
- Michałków – Ostrów Glide (18 m class, Club A).
OCTOBER
- Mikulowice (Czech Republic) – International wave camp – testing of flying properties in mountain conditions.
